Position: Financial Controller

Responsibilities:
- Supports and guides financial decisions by maintaining, monitoring, and enforcing corporate financial policies and procedures
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and addressing deficiencies as required
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits, leading any internal/external audit procedures and driving closure to any deficiencies identified.
- Creates and implements policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues in addition to creating procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate
- Leads the general accounting and treasury functions

- Leads the monthly and quarterly financial close process including various parent company Q/E reporting requirements and quarterly B/S reviews with parent company executives
- Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
- Preparation and review of working papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
- Oversees the accounts receivables and accounts payables functions
- Support the preparation of quarterly tax projections and annual tax return preparation
- Preparation of the year to date cash flow and cash projections to effectively manage cash balances and maximize the return on any excess cash balances and ensure all facility covenants ratio are met
- Coach and develop of team 6-7
- Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
- Establish a high-level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including Auditors, Bankers, Statutory bodies, Customers, Supplier and other business partners
Requirements:
- Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences in a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years “Big Four’ or national accounting firm audit experience
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels
- Ability to handle high-levels of pressure and critical decision-making
- High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
- Proficient in with Singapore’s Legal & Statutory Compliances
- Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
- Knowledge of SAP/Oracle and Hyperion System would an added advantage
