Position : Director, Research & Development
Location : Singapore
Company : Our Client is a leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services
Responsibilities:
- Sets the overall charter for R&D, as well as the technology directions and goals for the company
- Manages research and development programs and activities to facilitate introduction of new products or processes or recommend improvements to existing products or processes
- Oversees the product development and technology roadmap
- Held accountable for the product performance and acceptance
- Manage a group of R&D personnel and be responsible for their recruitment, training and development
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Masters/Degree in Communications/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum 10-15 years of experience in a project management capacity
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of product development and its related activities
- Working experience in a multinational and/or manufacturing environment would be preferred
- Strong leadership qualities and initiative
- Mature with a global outlook in product research and development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
