JOB SUMMARY
A prominent provider of construction equipment supplies in Singapore, Malaysia and India is looking for a Country Manager to report into Singapore.
This position is responsible for the active participation and contribution to the growth & profitability of the company’s business with special focus in Malaysia. The primary responsibility is to develop, execute and manage the company’s strategy, value proposition for business development activities in Malaysia and to help achieve the company’s aggressive growth plans. To build and develop partnerships to drive the company’s strategy and revenue goals. To manage Sales, Operations, develop businesses and increase profitability in Malaysia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and develop partnerships, to drive the company’s vision, strategy and revenues. The role will require the incumbent to:
- Deliver on targets for profits, revenue, cash and safety
- Develop Sales and Operational plans
- Actively visit existing customers for organic business growth as well as potential customers for new business development
- Ensure the highest standards of integrity in all of the company’s business dealings with customers and partners
- Manages Recruitment
- Ensure Compliance in Malaysia
REQUIREMENT
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in any discipline
- Proven track record and good understanding in business operations and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, including people management, leadership, both written and verbal
- Successful experience in developing businesses
- Professional, self-motivated, high level of accountability, customer focused and systemic thinking
