Position : Regional Quality Director (Automotive)
Location : China, Shanghai
Company : Our Client is an establish precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assembly company
To provide leadership and direction to the QA Managers at the entity level to ensure conformance of Corporate Quality policies, Quality standards and Quality systems; helps resolve major quality issues and ensures overall customer satisfaction
Responsibilities:
- To help develop and set Quality goals for the Region and the entities and provides directions to the entities to meet these goals
- To review the Quality training needs in the region and develop action plans to dress these needs
- To provide technical leadership to the entities to improve product quality and other quality related services
- To help resolve quality related problems at the entity level
- To assist with the selection and recruitment of key positions in the Quality organisations in the entities
- To coach and provide guidance to the entity QA Manages
- To develop plans in strengthening the QA resources in the region
- To conduct regular quality audits on system, operations and products to ensure conformance to ISO Standards, internal specifications and other customer requirements
- To keep abreast of our customer Quality needs and develop plans to address these issues
- To take on special assignments and projects as assigned from time to time by the Global Quality Director
Requirements:
- A basic university degree in either science or engineering, master degree preferred
- Lean & or Six Sigma Black Belt
- CQE, CQM and Lead Assessor qualifications are added assets
- Working knowledge of computer and statistical software is a must
- To communicate in both English and Mandarin is essential
- At least 15 years of automotive experience in Quality Assurance in related industry
- Able to communicate with all management levels and possess good facilitating skills
