Position : General Counsel
Location : Singapore
Company : Our Client is an establish precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assembly company
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for providing full legal support to the business of the Group to ensure the achievement of business objectives while minimizing legal risks
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and as well as providing sound legal advice to stakeholders
- Support and liaison for compliance, corporate secretarial, intellectual property, litigation/dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, insurance and policy matters
- Development of contract templates and contract management/administration of the contractual documents of the Group
Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of related experience in practice or in‐house
- Sound knowledge of general corporate and commercial law and its application in international Manufacturing –Sales environment
- Mergers and acquisitions experience
- Commercial acumen and the ability to balance legal and commercial risks
- Clear communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders across various functions
