JOB SUMMARY
Contribute to the company’s Embedded Systems business unit in terms of product development and performance and to drive revenue growth and sustainability
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development
- Participate in developing product roadmap for the Embedded Systems solutions
- Manage research and development programs and activities to facilitate introduction of new products or processes or recommend improvements to existing products or processes
- Oversee product development initiatives and technology roadmap
- Accountable for the product performance and acceptance
Business Growth & Revenue Generation
- Participate in business development activities to continuously explore opportunities with new and existing customers
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Manage a group of R&D personnel and be responsible for their recruitment, training and development
- Perform any other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum 10-15 years experience in a product development capacity in firmware, hardware or software design or embedded systems in industrial and instrumentation products
- Demonstrated knowledge in analyzing the risks & benefits in development of different products
- Demonstrated experience working with customers and alliance partners that strategically align with target markets
- Driven and passionate leadership in leading and coaching the R&D managers and team members
