Position : Commercial Manager
Location : Singapore
Company : Our Client is a commercial interior design company.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that the Commercial team runs productively and efficiently
• Review tender documentation / brief issued by client and derive a thorough understanding of clients’ requirements and prepare necessary tender reply submissions
• Attend site visits and gain thorough understanding of local conditions
• Cost planning, preparation of budget estimation, change management, cost reporting and procurement
• Contract administration (including tender documentation, assess claims, variation order and final account) to ensure smooth delivery of consultancy project
• Conduct quantity measurement and call for quotations from various vendors to ensure competitive tender bids
• Sourcing of new suppliers and contractors to ensure competitiveness and well informed of new products
Requirements
• At least a Diploma or Degree in building Quantity Surveyor/ Building/ Construction Management / Project Management
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building projects preferably with consultancy background
• Ability to communicate with people at all level and meticulous with an eye for details
• Able to work independently and is a team player
• Possess good negotiation and coordination skills
• Have good attitude and preferably with high level of initiative
