- Lead the team to deliver advanced Life Science Instrumentation/System for various OEM Customers
- Manage both Program Managers and Functional Managers on R&D resources planning in supporting various R&D programs. Drive Product Development rigors and seek opportunity to improve in-house product development processes with OEM Customer requirement in mind
- Participate in business development activities to continuously explore opportunities with new and existing customers
- Interpret customer’s needs based on customer request for proposals (RFPs) and request for quotations (RFQs) in order to develop and write the product requirements document (PRD) and/or product specifications document (PSD)
- Possess excellent knowledge in at least one technical domain, but have a broad basic view of all instrument hardware functions (e.g., mechanical, electronics, electrical, optics, firmware, software) and understand how to connect the performance of these functions to the needs of the end application (e.g., DNA sequencing, quantitative polymerase chain reaction, genomics and other “omics” platforms, etc.)
- Experience in medical product development processes and documentation, and familiar with ISO13485
- Drive business development strategies and plans for the Healthcare sector and others
- Responsible for contract review, liability claim, price negotiations and all commercial discussions with customers
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in precision plastic industry
