Responsibilities:

• Supports CEO and Business on the Financial / Accounting / Tax strategies and objectives
• Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and regulatory compliance, including consolidation, financial and cost control, inventory control, credit management, tax planning, treasury, risk management, budgeting, internal controls and corporate governance compliance
• Monitor of potential investments and acquisition, business development and ad hoc project evaluation
• Develops financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services; preparing growth plans; directing staff
• Creating Go-to-market strategies for various new markets, improving financial status by identifying trends; analyzing results & variances and recommending actions
• Measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances, understand & mitigate key elements of the Group’s risk profile
• Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions and oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
• Provide advice for Group’s business review which will include new business and investment opportunities

Requirements:

• CA qualified with minimum of 10 years’ post qualification experience in leadership role with a F&B business with or had exposure in working towards a successful IPO for a business
• Knowledgeable of financial, tax regulatory, standards of SGX regulations and reporting
• Excellent business acumen, analytical, presentation and management skills. Dynamic, have an entrepreneur flair, independent and have an excellent track record of success
• Adaptable to a diversified culture and able to build key relationship with internal and external stakeholders

• Organizing & managing operation of accounting department month-end or year-end accounting process, highlight the issue based on the figure for management review
• Extensive experience in accounting management, reconciliation, revenue & expenditure analyzing and coordinate & complete annual audit
• Develop financial model and analyze to support strategic initiative
• Manage all aspects of the month end close process, including the review of journal entries and preparation of the financial reporting package
• Drive process improvements to enhance the speed and accuracy of month end close by leading initiatives to enhance month end close processes
