JOB SUMMARY          

This is a newly created position, designed to participate actively to the growth & profitability objectives of the R&D lab world-wide.  The focus is to strengthen the R&D team in the area of business development, seeking expansion of present customer base with primary objectives of  introducing product & solutions concepts with the resultant result of building the Company’s technological capability to a higher platform of the ODM business.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES         

Work with R&D Senior Management team & other functional groups, in their “domain” field to discharge the following:

  • Map out the ODM Business Development Strategies
  • Identify key product & new applications/solutions in the Medical/Health Care & Financial Transaction Domains
  • Develop product & solutions concepts, including test solutions
  • Develop product & solutions specifications, ready for developers’ product generation need
  • Identify new opportunities in terms of solutions or products with at least one to two impactful product ideas a year
  • Hire & build a strong business development team to grow appropriate customer base & manage this as a business with effective business plans to ensure financial & operational goals are met, including driving the sales target
  • Spearhead the team in developing deep understanding of all domain parameters & be creative in linking new product & solutions to newly invented user needs

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE         

  • Minimum qualification of Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in any Engineering Disciplines, preferably with MBA degree

 

JOB-RELATED SKILLS

Familiarity with global industry domains e.g. Printing and Imaging, Medical, Financial Transactions etc.

  • Managed large business entity (in excess of US$100 million annually) at a senior level for at least 3 years
  • Understand the eco systems from product development, market segments, sales channels, end users requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ODM Sales Channels to OEMS
